Is Everyone Ready to Go Outside?

Think you don’t have enough space for youth to learn STEM? Think again! Staff uses a local spring and a simple nature walk to discover and learn about animals that exist in their local area. Frontline staff have researched the local wildlife and prepared themselves for an excellent lesson outside.

Video-Based Learning Module

As you watch the 张一山叫床视频 video below, think about these questions:

  • How do staff encourage youth to respect this space?
  • How do staff use the space around them to guide youth in processing what they are learning about the habitat?
  • How do the adults support youth engaging in their space and learning about their habitat?

Now that you've watched the video, reflect on what you saw and post your responses.

  • How does this space – or any space – affect youth interacting and learning?
  • We might not have access to a nature walk or a local spring but how could you replicate a similar exploration of nature in your programming?
